The Deacon: I prefer amateur; regular folks who just set up a camera.  Real, shapely women, no skinny blondes for me!

The Monster: They're all my favorites:) But... Belladonna, Kapri Styles, Hailey Paige, Katsumi, et al. All the different flavors. Yum.


Q:  What’s the Secret?
Damn: We think of our music as an old-time blues singing, guitar playing mama from way down south who hooked up with a tattoo’d punk, balls out rocker. We’re in a sense their bastard musical offspring - Mama’s dirty little secret (SMILE)

The Deacon: Yeah (nodding head)...

The Monster: The secret is: Your daddy ain't your daddy but your daddy don't know.


Q: The Story of Anvil is getting a lot of attention. Who do you think should have been bigger but never quite made it?
Damn: A couple of local bands from back in the day I really thought were going to happen are HiddenPersuaders and Collision. I’m surprised Sevendust isn’t bigger. Skunk Anansie is huge in Europe, but for some reason never pulled large numbers here in the States.

The Deacon: I know there are some, but I can't seem to remember much at this moment ;)

The Monster: Every black rock band should've been bigger, from 24/7 Spyz and Bad Brains to Fishbone and Living Colour. All of them.
